“How much is it?” is the first question everybody asks, so here’s a straight answer. Every floor gets priced after we see it, but these ranges will tell you whether a coated floor fits your budget before you call.
This page is part of our epoxy floors section. All prices are for our full system: diamond-ground prep, crack repair, polyaspartic base, full flake broadcast and a polyaspartic topcoat.
Typical Prices by Garage Size
| Space | Typical size | Typical price |
|---|---|---|
| 1-car garage | about 250 to 300 sq ft | Free on-site quote |
| 2-car garage | about 400 to 500 sq ft | Free on-site quote |
| 3-car garage | about 600 to 750 sq ft | Free on-site quote |
| Patio or lanai | varies | Free on-site quote |
Every floor is different, so we don’t publish one-size-fits-all prices. We give every customer a free on-site quote with a firm, written price after we measure the space and check the concrete.
What Changes the Price
Size and Layout
Price is mostly driven by square footage. Odd shapes, lots of corners, steps and coated stem walls add labor.
Condition of the Concrete
A clean slab with a few hairline cracks is straightforward. Wide cracks, pitting, spalling, or a floor that’s been soaking up oil for years takes more repair time and material.
Old Coatings or Paint
If there’s paint or a failing DIY epoxy on the floor, it has to be ground off before we start. Thin coatings come off with our normal grinding. Thick or stubborn coatings take extra time. We assess this at the estimate and include it in your written quote.
Moisture in the Slab
If a slab shows signs of moisture coming up from below, it may need a moisture-mitigation primer before the base coat. That adds cost, but it’s much cheaper than a floor that bubbles and peels. If your slab needs it, we’ll explain why at the quote.
Options
Custom flake blends, smaller flake sizes, anti-slip additives and extra topcoats can change the price. We’ll go over the options with you and price any upgrades at your quote.
Why Cheap Floors Cost More
The lowest quote is usually the one that skips steps: acid etching instead of grinding, a thin coat, a light sprinkle of flake instead of a full broadcast, or plain epoxy on top instead of polyaspartic. Those are the floors that peel under hot tires and yellow near the garage door. Then you’re paying to grind them off and do it again. Read why on our polyaspartic vs. epoxy page.
How We Quote
We don’t price garage floors over the phone sight unseen, because two garages the same size can be very different jobs. At the estimate we measure the space, look at every crack and stain, check for old coatings and signs of moisture, and show you flake samples. Then you get one price for the whole job, with everything spelled out. If a floor needs extra work, like a wide crack or a moisture primer, we tell you before you book, not halfway through the install. Here’s what install day looks like, step by step.
Coated Floor vs. Other Options
A plain concrete sealer costs less, but it doesn’t hide stains or cracks and wears off in a few years. Garage tiles and roll-out mats can work, but they trap dirt and water underneath. Paint is the cheapest of all and usually the first thing to peel. A full flake system costs more up front, but it’s a permanent, finished floor that’s easy to clean.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to coat a two-car garage in Jacksonville?
Most two-car garages fall in the Free on-site quote range for our full flake system. The final price depends on size, the condition of the concrete and any old coating that needs to be removed.
Is a professional floor worth it over a DIY kit?
A kit costs less up front, but most kits skip diamond grinding and use a thin epoxy that can peel under hot tires. A professionally ground and polyaspartic-topped floor is built to last much longer.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are free.
Does the price include crack repair?
Crack and pitting repair is part of our prep. We look at every crack at the free on-site quote, and anything beyond normal repair is spelled out in your written price.
Can I get the patio done at the same time?
Yes. Doing a garage and a patio or lanai on the same visit is common. We’ll price them together.
